The NS7II is a solid workhorse for DJs who want motorized platters without breaking the bank. The platter feel is great, and the effects are useful. I appreciate the XLR outputs for connecting to pro sound systems. The 24-bit audio sounds clean. However, it's not exactly portable—it's heavy and bulky. Also, being USB-powered means you need a strong laptop USB port or a powered hub. The 16 pads are responsive, but I wish there were more. Overall, it's a reliable controller for the price.
