Our take
The NS7II is a worthy upgrade from the original, with better sound quality and a cover included. The 24-bit audio is crisp, and the 16 pads are responsive. I appreciate the XLR outputs for connecting to PA systems. It's USB powered, so no wall wart needed. The only downside is the lack of standalone mixing – you need a laptop. Overall, a great controller for serious mobile DJs.
