Our take
The NS7FX is a solid controller for the price, but note that it doesn't come with a cord—so you'll need to supply your own power adapter and USB cable. I appreciate the XLR outputs for better sound quality at gigs, and the loop/sampler is fun to use. The 16 pads are responsive enough for triggering cues and samples. However, the build is a bit lightweight, and the jog wheels feel a little loose. It's also a 2-channel controller, which might feel cramped if you're used to 4 channels. For $355, it's a good value if you don't mind the missing cord.
