Our take
I’ve used a few controllers with motorized platters, and the NS6 is a solid mid-range option. The platters feel responsive and add a tactile element to scratching and mixing. The effects section is decent, with dub echo and reverse roll being fun extras. However, I wish the sampling rate were higher than 44.1 kHz for pristine audio. The number of inputs is generous for connecting turntables or CDJs, but the unit feels a bit bulky on smaller desks. At $400, it’s a good value for motorized control, though the internal sound card could be better.
