About this product
The Numark Mixtrack USB DJ Controller is a first-generation double deck controller from 2012. It features 2 channels with USB output, jog wheels, mixer, EQ, FX, and looping capabilities. Tabletop form factor in black and gray. Tested and working, this original model N382 offers essential DJ controls for software-based mixing. As an older device, it may lack newer features but provides a solid foundation for beginners on a budget.
Our take
I picked up this vintage Numark Mixtrack USB for $80 to see if DJing is for me. It's basic: two decks, jog wheels, EQ, and some FX/looping. The USB connection worked right away with my software. The build feels dated but solid. No fancy screens or pads, just the essentials. If you want to learn without spending much, this first-gen model does the job. Just don't expect Serato or Rekordbox support out of the box—you'll need to map manually or use older software versions.
