Our take
I bought the Mixtrack Platinum FX expecting a standard controller, but the specs list a single channel which seems odd. In practice, it operates as a typical 2-channel controller with software mixing. The LED lights and BPM counter are helpful for beatmatching. The build is compact and portable, but the plastic feels cheap. The 1U height is interesting for rack mounting. While it works fine for basic mixing, the limited hardware effects and single channel spec make me question its value at $265. There are better options at this price.
